It's Officially FALL!!

 I was so excited to get back behind the camera after 2 weeks with no sessions.  Every session I do reminds me just how much I LOVE this job!  My love and passion for photographing children and families grows with every session, but especially when I get a family like this one!  Sweet L just turned 1 and he was as cute as they come!  He even showed me how old he was in the first picture below!  Enjoy your sneak peaks S family!

Addison & Grayson

Have I introduced you to my own sweet little ones?  I know there's a few pictures of them floating around this blog here and there but here's a formal introduction!  Addison is 4, and smart as a whip!  She LOVES to draw and color and when she's not doing that, she is playing with her stroller and babies.  She is sweet and sassy all mixed into one and loads of fun to hang out with. 

Grayson, my little guy, is actually called "biggie" in our house.  Not sure exactly why, but that's what we call him!  He's almost 3 and loves to turn anything he can find into a sword or bat of some sort...No idea how this happended, must be a boy thing!  He is as sweet as can be (aside from his terrible 2 displays from time to time), and loves his big sister to pieces!

Another beautiful family session!

I met this family at Heritage Gardens in Shelby Township.  What a beautiful place!  There were several great spots to snap a few pictures and although we competed for space and time, I think we got some great shots!

Loved these from my Saturday session so even though I've already posted her sneak peeks I thought I'd post a few more in Sepia :)  I am always amazed at how changing the tone of the image changes the whole feel. 

Blonde & Blue

Sure does make for a sweet little guy!  He wasn't too sure about me when we first met and I could tell Mom was a bit worried how our session would go.  I assured her that he would warm up in a few minutes and sure enough, he was off and running.  We had a blast!  What an adorable, fun boy and a sweet family.  Thank you SO much for having me take your little man's pictures! 

It's RARE...but

IT HAPPENS!

Everyone thinks that since I'm a photographer that I have all these GREAT pictures of my kids.  Well, just as it's difficult for YOU to get good shots of your kids together, it's just as hard for me.  BUT, every once in a while they squeak one out for me :)  Love these guys...my very own favorite photography subjects!

Halloween Photo Shoot!

So, I was contacted by the owner of Ladybug Tutu's, a custom children's clothing designer, to photograph some of the items she is selling for her Halloween line this year.  What a treat!  No pun intended!  I met with 9 wonderful mothers with 9 BEAUTIFUL children and spent 4 hours snapping away.  Brandy, from Ladybug Tutu's, does such a great job creating these one of a kind costumes and outfits and these girls really knew how to sport them!  If you are interested in any of these costumes for your little one this year, you can check her out on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/Ladybugtutus and tell her you saw her stuff on my blog!
